Weekend of October 11 - 12, 2008

Weather:
Mid fifties during the day, in the teens over-night.  Clear and breezy.
Plans:
Do a site map of the garden.  Post it on the web.
Activities:
  • Completely cleared out the vegetable garden
  • Cleaned tools and put them away
  • Cleaned and stored away garden trellises
  • Put the outdoor sink away
  • Moved the tender herbs into the green house, watered them.
Miscellaneous Notes & Observations:
I got the lilies I ordered.  Need to get those planted along with the garlic.  Still need to cut back the flowers out by the barn. 

I think that I am in pretty good shape going into the fall.  I filled all my water jugs so that at least for the first part of the winter I will have water for the herbs.

Can’t wait until spring so I can start again.
