This weekend holds such promise. Today the temperatures are to reach into the mid 60’s and on Sunday they are supposed to reach the high 60’s. Finally, at long last some nice weather. I hardly know where to begin on all the stuff I want to do outside.
There is the car that needs to be washed and vacuumed to get rid of all the winter dirt inside and out.
The snow has melted enough that I can now get into my vegetable garden, when I was up there on Wednesday evening there was still a lot of snow but I could see most of my raised beds.
There is a lot of clean up to do, cutting back the dead fall on my tarragon (which I think may have survived, keeping my fingers crossed.) and parsley. Removing the old tomato plants, preparing beds to plant spinach and snap peas. I planted them early last year and they grew quite well.
The garlic I planted in the fall is coming up I can see the tips of it poking thru the soil.
Since I started this post the sun is up and it is light outside so I am off to start my day. More later
