Surprise - Lots more snow
Every night this last week channel 6 had been predicting that this weekend we would be getting at least 6 inches of snow. Richard each night changed the channel and said the other channel’s weather people were not saying anything about snow. Then Friday night all the channels were saying snow.
Saturday morning at 11:30 it started to snow and has been snowing pretty steady since then. At about 4:30 this afternoon it slowed down and has stopped now. This snow storm has broken the record of a storm from January 21, 1957 when Spokane 12.7", with a total snow fall of 13.7".
Richard started about 8:00 am to plow the snow he worked until about 1:00 when he ran out of gas. He tried to get the truck out of the hay shed, but the snow was too deep. He didn’t finish plowing the driveway and both of the cars will bottom out trying to get out. We are going to wait until the morning and try again to get the truck out.
More tomorrow….
