Two Days before Christmas and I am thinking of March

We had a spell of snow this afternoon fairly heavy at times and it has let up for now.  I haven’t gotten the normal volley of email advisories from AccuWeather, so I am amusing that we are having a winter storm but not any worse than earlier predicated. 

While working on my blog this afternoon, I went back into my archives looking at my posts from last Spring.  I remember thinking that all the snow should be gone by mid March.  And I believe that last year it was gone by the 15th and the year before that it was gone by the 8th of March.  With only eight days of December and another 60 days for January and February (leap year) I am looking at about 83 days until mid March, not that long.  In the meanwhile I should think about painting the hallway up the stairs and the downstairs bathroom\laundry which should keep me busy for a few weeks.

Before we know it, it will be Spring.
