Weather:
It has been hot for the last week. Saturday and Sunday the temperature reached the low 90’s. Cooler today, with showers tomorrow and Wednesday. I don’t see it getting that warm again within the next couple of weeks at least not in any of the 15 day forecast I have looked at.
Plantings:
I planted a couple more Butterstick zucchini and Zucchini. Other than that I haven’t planted anything. I have ordered some perennials for the beds by the barn.
DELPHINIUM Giant Pacific Roundtable Mixed
ASTER laevis Bluebird
RUDBECKIA fulgida sullivantii Goldsturm
They hopefully shipped today and I can get them planted before the weather warms up again.
The potatoes are growing pretty well. I have added one tire on 5 of the seven plants. I need to put more dirt on the other two plants.
Activities:
I weeded the vegetable garden. Also cleaned the back deck, and lawn furniture. Cleaned the greenhouse out, still have some plants to get into the ground mostly the sunflowers.
Miscellaneous Notes & Observations:
The wild roses are blooming. Things are green and it is really pretty. I will get some pictures posted shortly.
