Weather:
Sunny , 70° with a low of 35°. It was foggy as I drove to work don’t understand that other than cold ground and warm air.
Plantings:
I had purchased last Friday a pony pack of Leeks and Shallots so I planted those.
Leek Lancia & Allium Cepa (Red)
Mike the gentlemen that I work with bought me two tomato plants. Last year I remember him talking about having tomatoes about 2 or 3 weeks ahead of me. It appears that the tomato plants he buys are older than what I was getting so this year he got me a couple. I planted
Bush Celebrity: medium sized 8-9 oz’s -67 days.
Super Sweet: cherry size tomato - 65-70 days.
In the past I have planted more tomato plants but finally realized that less is better. Since I don’t can them, there is no point.
Activities:
watered the garden.
Miscellaneous Notes & Observations:
Orange Crush was seen sitting in front of house not more than 5 feet from a deer. It was the most charming sight. Hope he doesn’t try that with a coyote.
I forgot to mention that on Sunday I moved my Rosemary plant out of the greenhouse to the garden.
