Slow Day

Today was a slow day. I cleaned the chicken coop - hosed it out and put down new wood chips. The chickens are not as shy as they were but that’s not saying that they still are pretty shy.

I got some more wood chips to put out in the vegetable garden. On Thursday I stopped and picked up 4 more tires for my potato plants.

I put a new theme up on the site, just wasn’t real happy with the last one. Not sure about this one but I’ll use it for a while and see how it goes.

The beans are coming up very nicely. Shortly I am going to have figure out how to support them. Actually that will probably have to be tomorrow.

Another Day in Paradise

Little Mr. Kitten has found his way into the bedroom and has decided that the bed is a great place for playing and napping. He spent most of the day napping with Richard.

This kitten is very sweet tempered. He purrs all the time, is gentle and cuddley. He has managed to figure out how to get on every counter in the house but the island counter in the kitchen. It is only a matter of time before he figures that out. The only reason he hasn’t gotten up there is that he doesn’t know that it is there.

I weighed him on Friday and he was 2 1/2 pounds. He eats like there is no tomorrow. He seems so small - but I am sure that it won’t be long til he is … well you know - a cat.
